Damien Rattler & the Electric Soul Circus is a rhythm and blues band formed in Toronto, Ontario that echo the sounds of Rock, Funk and Folk. The band came together around charismatic Singer/Songwriter Damien Rattler in 2012. Characterized by their powerful live performance energy, the Toronto-based quintet have wowed audiences since their conception. After a creative push in early 2015, the band released their first self-titled EP Damien Rattler & the Electric Soul Circus in August of 2015. The album is fueled through funky backbone grooves, electrifying guitars, articulate lines and raw, edgy vocals blended into a soulful blues-heavy gumbo. The band released five singles in 2016: "Bad Luck Son"; "Willow Stand Alone"; "Better Run"; "Need You" & "Downtown Hustle." There is a little bit of everything in their melting pot of music- from deep lyric ballads, upbeat riff rock & roll and raunchy blues. The spirit of Damien Rattler & the Electric Soul Circus is deeply saturated in roots music- fusing both classic and modern styles.
