This is a wonderful combination of contemporary jazz, funk, blues and some straight-ahead influences. Willie Pooch is a fine blues singer and Tony Monaco shines brilliantly with his organ performances. With Rick Collura on guitar and Louis Tsamous on drums, the sound is complete, real and intimate!

Tony Monaco, as always, is superb and his organ techniques are among the best to be found on the contemporary jazz scene. Monaco and Pooch were fated to make this CD and it is a testament to their jazz roots with what they achieve. Willie Pooch also composes and some of these fine songs are his own creation.
