D.B. is a talented Blues Guitarist based in the San Francisco Bay Area. His music is filled with a rich down home blues flavor that makes you feel like you are sitting on the porch right next to him soaking up a Louisiana sunset. D.B. has been compared to such legendary artists as Ry Cooder, Lightning Hopkins and Robert Johnson. The flowing slide work and gritty vocals make such comparisons obvious, but when asked about it D.B. said "They are the masters, I am just a student." D.B. has spent most of his life playing guitar, since age 7. Though he plays many styles of music it's his first love, the Blues, that has caught on. "Ya see, I got this MP3 player and I wanted to get some good acoustic blues for it", said D.B. , "and I couldn't find anything I liked on one of those download sites, so I recorded some and put em' up on MP3.Com" These recordings soon climbed up the charts to take #1 on the Acoustic Blues chart and landed him a spot in the top 20 Blues artists on the site. With over 130,000 downloads, from over 50,000 fans, D.B. got the message. This was his calling. You cant go wrong with this record!

Here are DB’s notes for the album and personnel: “This Record Album Has No Title” Because its more like 3 records in one. It begins with some driving Blues, then edges more into Classic Rock/Blues, takes a stop in Americana then shifts into pounding Hendrix inspired psychedelia before it floats off into a Post Rock/Pink Floyd haze. How can it have a title when it has so many personalities?
