Skin Blues Trio is a Blues and Blues Rock band. Formed in late 2013, the group's goal is to viscerally interpret the classics of the genre, always showing the trio's personality. Fernando Filippi, creator of the project, in addition to being a guitarist and vocalist, has always been interested in the blues and power trios of the genre, such as the Jimi Hendrix Experience, Stevie Ray Vaughan and Double Trouble and Cream. The idea of interpreting the songs with a strong and personalized touch caught the attention of bassist Capê, who joined the band. The trio is completed by drummer Bibi Cunha, a frequent collaborator of Fernando Filippi in several blues jams. The name Skin Blues Trio carries the idea of blues on the surface, played in a visceral and spontaneous way.
