Håkan Forshult at Last Buzz Records has been the leader of Scandinavian blues for longer than most of us have been listening to the blues. He has found and recorded top artists such as Knock-Out Greg & Blue Weather, Day Warren, Sam Rocket & His Blues Prisoners and Jump 4 Joy. These tunes flow nicely along building a compilation that is sure to appeal to a large base of blues fans looking for a bit of adventure and variety. The usual good work from Last Buzz.

A number of Jimi Hendrix tunes arranged for big band by Mats Engström, leader and percussionist of Uppsala Big Band. The album was recorded at Polar Studio in November 1996, mainly live in the studio. Some fixes and overdubs were recorded in a small studio in Uppsala during the spring of 1997. The album was mixed in the studio of Paradise Park in Copenhagen, Denmark, during the spring of 1998, and released in the early summer same year.

In the wake of bands like Fleetwood Mac, John Mayall's Bluesbreakers and Canned Heat, Wolfman Jack from Umeå in Sweden has slowly but surely found its place. A simple trio, consisting of John Edén Brändström, vocals and guitar, Magnus Hägglund, bass and Ulf Andersson, drums and vocals. With a couple of hundred gigs all over Sweden. and a few thousand records sold, the band has been given its well-earned reputation as Sweden's hardest working blues band.
The tribute choir from the last album "Now!" (released in 2010) had barely gone quiet before the band once again went into the studio. This time equipped with a big bundle of their own material, as well as some handpicked hits from the past. During the year since the last album, the band has toured extensively with Clas Yngström from Sky High. Together they created the album "Together" which can not be seen other than as a reaction to today's popular music. The album was released on April 8, 2011, on the classic Umeå based label Garageland Records. Over the years the band has been visited by many well-known people, like Sven Zetterberg, Robert "Strängen" Dahlqvist from Hellacopters and Billy Bremner from the legendary band Rockpile and also guitarist for Dave Edmunds for many years.
