The Nosmo Kings are a Rock/ Blues trio whose core members, Todd Marquart (guitar) and Mark “Stubby” Staab (bass), have been playing music together professionally for 15 years. They’ve regularly appeared at local rock clubs, blues bars, motorcycle rallies, and various hole-in-the-walls for the past 12 years in Dallas. As the years went by and music styles changed, along with a revolving door of various drummers, the band released their first CD “Late for the Gig” in 2001. In 2003 they took time off to record their 2nd CD “Falling Rhinos”. With their drummer Philip Perser, they are focusing on powerful blues/rock music with strong lyrics and vocal harmonies.
Since 1995 the band has performed throughout the Dallas Metroplex area, the Midwestern states, for the annual Republic of Texas Bike Rally in Austin, the Wildflower Festival in Richardson, Texas, numerous Harley Davidson Superstore Grand Openings in Texas & Kansas, appeared on compilation CD’s, and has solidified itself as a top draw as a Rock/Blues band with its own original edge. With the new release of "Falling Rhinos" and steady sales of “Late For The Gig”, the Nosmo Kings show no signs of slowing down.
