Daan Prevoo (vocals, sax, harmonica), Paul Voestermans (guitars), Joost Janssen (piano, Hammond organ), Henry Schüler (upright bass) and Hupie Schell (drums) form the BluesCrowns and have grown in the short time of their existence to one of the better "West Coast Blues" bands in the Netherlands. A nice boost is the published album "Person To Person", which was launched at the Pajot Blues Festival in Galmaarden (2006 in Belgium). A wildly enthusiastic audience forced the organizers to offer the boys a contract for the 2007 edition that same evening. Deserved recognition for a band that is mainly remembered by blues fans as the European accompanist of Lynwood Slim.
After a successful period of 6 years, The Bluescrowns decided to end a fantastic time and look for a new direction. The band's highlight was the seven-day tour in Chicago-USA, including two performances during the 25th anniversary edition of the famous Chicago Blues Festival with Liz Mandeville and Little Willie Littlefield. Four 'Crowns' quickly decided to look for a new direction with a new sound under the name Deep & The Dudes. With a largely new and stimulating repertoire, characteristic and personal elements remain recognizable.
Special guests: Lynwood Slim (vocals, harmonica flute); Sjang Coenen (bass).
