Sari Schorr has taken the music world by storm. She has a voice like no other; hyper powerful, husky and muscular, with an incredible texture and range. She delivers a sentence as a boxer would throw an uppercut to his opponent.

Sari Schorr ‘Live In Europe’ will be out on March 2020, followed by her biggest European tour yet, comprising over 30 dates across the continent and the UK in March and April. Sari’s brand-new, 12-track live album was recorded on the last tour, and serves as a perfect illustration of why you’ll want to catch the next one. We are treated to the passion of original songs from her two studio albums and two reworked covers, Black Betty and I Just Want To Make Love To You, both hot favourites with audiences. These stunning live recordings from across Europe, along with two previously-unreleased acoustic tracks recorded for the BBC in the UK, truly make this album an object of desire. For Sari “there is an honestly in a live performance that allows me to be vulnerable and uncensored.”

Sari Schorr has a voice like no other, hyper powerful, husky, muscular, with an incredible texture and range. She delivers sentences as a boxer would throw an uppercut to his opponent.

In 2016, Sari first burst onto the Blues-Rock scene with her critically acclaimed debut album, A Force of Nature, produced by iconic British Blues pioneer Mike Vernon (David Bowie, Eric Clapton, John Mayall, Fleetwood Mac, Peter Green).

Now, two years later, Sari is breaking new ground with her sophomore album, Never Say Never. Sari insisted that the album be recorded live to capture the raw energy of her music. She has ventured deeper into her personal life. In the process, Sari has revealed herself with a vulnerability and honesty that she admits was as painful as it was healing. Her songs are highly crafted with vibrant lyrics that highlight just how good Sari is at invoking passion, grit, and empathy.

Sari’s success comes after years trudging the rugged road of life of the hard-working Blues woman. From her humble beginnings, working the music scene in the legendary fierce South Bronx of New York and on Manhattan’s Lower East Side, to a performance at Carnegie Hall, the operatically trained tornado stood her ground as a phenomenal Blues-Rock singer who would not be denied.

Sari’s home is her suitcase and her path has always taken her on the road less traveled. Her life is a story of never giving up, being true to yourself and pursuing your passions against all odds. It’s a story that is incredibly inspirational and a reminder why we should Never Say Never!

'A Force of Nature' is the debut album from one of the most exciting Blues-Rock singers on today's scene, Sari Schorr. The album is produced by the legendary Mike Vernon, whose credits include Fleetwood Mac, John Mayall & the Blues Breakers, David Bowie, Savoy Brown, Eric Clapton, Peter Green, Christine McVie and Ten Years After.

Already a consummate songwriter in her own right, with tracks on major labels, Sari has written or co-written almost all the songs on her debut album, which features legendary guitarists Walter Trout (John Mayall, Canned Heat) & Innes Sibun (Robert Plant), Oli Brown (RavenEye) and keyboardist John Baggott (Massive Attack, Portishead). The album delivers hard-driving Blues-Rock, influenced by the late 60's British Blues movement. Sari (who trained as an opera singer) mixes Blues, Rock, and Soul with concrete melodies and poetic lyrics to striking effect.

New York-based Sari has appeared on the Conan O'Brian Show, and has toured extensively throughout the U.S., Europe, Asia and Australia. She has received critical acclaim for her blustery vocals and emotionally-charged performances, and is described by many blues pundits as a modern-day hybrid of Janis Joplin and Tina Turner - a red-hot blues mama who radiates emotional intensity, connects with and inspires her audiences, and leaves a lasting impression that's larger than life. /Amazon
