Red Slim brings his Hendrix attitude and the power of the electric blues to stages around Australia. This bluesman bends the strings hard and plays his guitar with his teeth, beer glasses, lighters, mobiles or whatever you might leave on the table.
Red grew up in a town known as the Brazilian blues capital where he had the chance to watch and hang out backstage with some big names of the blues such as Eric Gales, Little Jimmy Kin...g, Junior Wells, Buddy Guy, Etta James, and Phil Guy. All these artists had strong influence in his music.
Red Slim’s music is a fusion of rock, funk and blues. His sets are a mash up of original creations amongst big blues classics that make people smile and dance. Red never plays the same solo twice and works in tune with his audience to create a unique and unforgettable experience.
