Not a product imported from Mississippi, yet "Seven Days" is an album of authentic blues, recorded without frills and especially without unnecessary sophistication. Two Italian gents that have the "feel" and are experts in handling Delta, swamp, voodoo, gospel, and Piedmont blues, etc. Andrea Sacchi's spacey, echoing harmonica can sound like rain beating on an asphalt road. A cyclical sense is present in the music and dutifully represented on the cover. It is no coincidence that the disc closes with "Same Shit, Different Day" which incorporates the initial "No Mo 'Talking' tune ... more stripped down, more driven, but still suggests the accumulation of a few more miles.
