Harris, Hunter & Fenn was formed in 2008 and worked for 9 years in the Vancouver Island, BC area as Slim and the Deuces. The group consists of Dave Harris on guitar, harp, fiddle, vocals; John R Hunter drums, vocals; and George Fenn bass. They focus on original blues songs and assorted blues covers of 50s Chicago/Memphis area artists. They released a well received live album “Live from the Blues Underground” in 2008, and recently completed the studio album “2017 Bluesville” consisting of 14 original old school tunes. The CD features many guests including good friends Bill Johnson, David Vest, Gary Preston, Wynn Gogol, Gene Hardy and the Capital City Horns. The music covers a wide swath of blues styles and grooves. And the lyrics are personal stories woven together over 40+ years.
