Joe Divine was born in the Leavenworth Kansas in 1951 and has been playing guitar since he was 4. Performing professionally since the age of 11, some would say he was a child prodigy having had an opportunity to tour the world, performing with a long list of diversified artist like Otis Redding, Joe Simon, Clarence Carter, Major Lance, and Gene Chandler to name a few.

His recognition includes BMI, Bill Board Magazine, ABC Studios in Memphis, and Cool Air Music Productions for which he has recorded professionally.

Joe says his style comes from his fathers love for music (the blues). Joe shared a challenge his father (a Staff Sargent in the Army during the Korean war), proposed to upgrade him from his childhood guitar, and old Stella hollow body, to a professional grade Gretsch Electric Guitar if he would perform for him when he returned form the Korean War. The song he chose an old classic named the Honky Tonk. This was was a number 1 popular blues song in the fifties. Needless to say he achieved his fathers dream for him and his Father gave him a professional Gretsch Electric Guitar at 9 yrs of age. The rest is History.
