A momentary 1969 return to the Guitar Junior monicker -- for Capitol Records, no less -- was produced by Eddie Shuler's son Wayne and focuses on Lonnie Brooks's enduring swamp blues roots (long after he'd jettisoned the style). Unavailable on CD (Crosscut reissued it on vinyl), the LP consists of interpretations of oldies first rendered by Guitar Slim, Lightnin' Slim, Elton Anderson, Larry Davis, Hop Wilson, and Professor Longhair (along with Brooks' own "The Train and the Horse"). ~Bill Dahl
