This live performance by two of Melbourne’s outstanding Blues vocalists, was one of the Melbourne Blues Appreciation Society’s (MBAS) featured duets series of performances, which took place in August 2013 and featured the best of Melbourne’s male and female Blues performers.
The on-stage chemistry between Rebecca and Jimi, backed by Rebecca’s regular band, Dreamboogie, was so intense and engaging, that all agreed that it should be released as a live recording.
The performers power through some originals includingThe Golden Rule, Tell Me Where, Tell Me When, and some well chosen covers including When The Levee Breaks, Voodoo Chile which features some outstanding Blues Mandolin from Jimi.
