Big Ed, legendary New York city bluesman, is part of the Popa Chubby team and, one more time, Popa Chubby has produced his new record.

Big Ed looks like Jimmy Vaughan and plays between Urban blues, Jump and Rockabilly. He has also a way of taking a traditional blues or swing lick and stamping his very own personality on it. His slide playing is nothing but wild. he gets to notes that it¹s hard to imagine and he does it in a way that puts a smile on your face every time.

He's a mainstay of the New York City scene. He has been a featured performer at N.Y.C. blues palace Manny¹s Car Wash. Ed has also been featured on many New York area festivals and was a founding member of The Rebel Rockers, a band produced by Brian Setzer.
