Shuffle Kings was born in the spring of 1995. It was meant to be an alternative to all the big city blues bands around, and at the same time a tribute to some of the mentors that the members have been influenced by through the years. Ronnie Earl & The Broadcasters, Duke Robillard and Roomful Of Blues are some of the names that come to mind.
