Frank Lauridsen is considered by many as one of Denmark's greatest singers ever, and his energetic, powerful and authentic voice has often been called a hybrid between Steve Winwood and Ray Charles.

'& Many More' was released in memorial of Frank, who sadly passed away on November 8, 2016 - far too early.

Frank’s career started as a 17-year-old in the band The Burtons. Shortly after, he joined the more famous band, The Baronets, led by the Danish musician Lasse Helner. The Baronets became very popular and even had the honor of warming up for big international names such as The Bee Gees, The Kinks, Procol Harum and The Who.

In the 1970s, Frank was a member of the very successful band Midnight Sun. They even managed to get a favorable mention in Rolling Stone Magazine!

Later on Frank started the band The Franks, which toured the length and breadth of Denmark. For the past ten years, Frank has been working on his first solo album.

The forth coming album will be released in late March 2014, and will be a dedication to rhythm & blues, soul music, country and it even contains a few rock ballads!

Ten of the twelve tracks are new and written especially for Frank and his powerful voice. Two tracks are old favorites of his: ‘For What It’s Worth’ written by Stephen Stills and ’People Get Ready’ written by Curtis Mayfield.

In fact, on Frank’s rendition of ‘People Get Ready’ he accomplishes an old dream of his both singing it and by including a new b line composed by himself.
