Formerly known as the WYATTCHRISTMAS TRIO, the Düsseldorf rock'n'roll band has expanded into a quintet and presents their third studio album. The formation around guitarist and vocalist ANDY WYATTCHRISTMAS has been active for more than ten years and is now supported by PETER KÜHN (vocals, harmonica, acoustic guitar), MARTINA JANSEN (piano), OLAF SCHUMACHER (bass) and DENNIS JANSEN (drums). Already as a trio, they always let rock, blues and boogie resonate alongside Rockabilly and are a popular band especially in the swing and Lindy Hop dancers scene. With 'Slide'n'Jive' they are now presenting 15 brand new songs, which, in addition to three cover versions, are all original compositions. The tonal richness created by MARTINA JANSEN's piano playing and the often used harmonica, the new songs are very excellent, the numbers are equally suitable for dancing and listening. THE WYATTCHRISTMAS FIVE continue their very own way - stylish, lively and with a lot of playful refinement. 'Slide'n'Jive' was completely realized by the band in their own studio.
