‘Blues From The Dean Delta’ is a mixture of many different styles from the hard Chicago blues of ‘Night and Day Blues’ to the New Orleans based ‘My Life Would Be Perfect’. Arthur (lead guitarist) did some great playing on all tracks. Listen to his soulful guitar on ‘Alone’. I also had help from my good friend Ian Riley playing piano on ‘Take Me Down To The River’ and Howard Meyrick did a great job on saxophone, listen to him storming away on ‘Blues Train’ and ‘Love Doctor’ It was a such a pleasure to have the Bournemouth Gospel Choir singing on ‘Carry Me’, truly memorable. I hope you enjoy listening as much as I have enjoyed making this album.
