Ashbolt Stewart has been a professional drummer since 1964! He's appeared on over 20 CD recordings including 'Family Affair' w/ Norman Sylverster {2003} and 'Up For Grabs'-{All originals} & 'Only Looking' {All Originals} with his band Bolt Upright, which has been gigging around Portland for the past 14 years. Ashbolt was the drummer for Norman Sylvester from 1995 through 2015. Bolt Upright played the Main Stage @ The Waterfront Blues Fest w/ guest Kenny Blue Ray in 2009.
'Beats Workin' is a recording that commemorates his 50 years of professional drumming as well as turning 65 years old! He plays drums & sings on all 17 tracks! The band,Beats Workin', features Ashbolt out front as the Lead Vocalist and percussionist!
