Marianne Antonsen appeared publicly already as a teenager, and in the summer of 1990 some local performances in Sarpsborg (Norway) led to the formation of the quartet Just 4 Fun. With this group Antonsen recorded two CDs, one of which went gold plate. She also participated in the Eurovision Song Contest, and in 1992 she released her first solo CD entitled "Pickin' Up the Spirit".
In 1998 she recorded a new CD, this time in Alabama and Mississippi in the United States, which was named "Frame This Moment". Antonsen has also released several other albums, and she has also been a member of the vocal group Queen Bees.
