On his self-titled debut album Christian Hönniger is releasing 36 tracks on 2CDs with a total playing time of 148 minutes. The recordings are the profile of his music from the last 10 years, mainly Blues stuff. Highly skilled harmonica playing such as Christian's is hard to find within Germany. The harmonica mainly plays a supporting role upon tracks of various music styles, although Christian has sometimes taken the soloist role. Wherever his instrument is, it always adds something special to each song. The session recordings were produced from his own bands and with fellow musicians at concerts, in the practice room and even in the kitchen.
