Belgium-based Rhythm Bombs plays their own special brand of spicy, hard-driving Blues, R&B, Swing, Shuffle, Mambo and Jive. Fronted by the outstanding harmonicaplayer and singer Wouter Celis, the band started out in 1998 and soon built itself a reputation for their enthusiastic live performances. The band played big venues and festivals in and around Belgium, Germany and the Netherlands. In 2002 the Rhythm Bombs released their debut-CD “ONE GEAR UP”. Consisting mostly of own material, the CD received great reviews and earned the “Bombs” more fans. That same year the band headlined the first night of Belgiums biggest bluesfestival, the Belgium Rhythm 'n Blues Festival.
