Belgium-based Rhythm Bombs plays their own special brand of spicy, hard-driving Blues, R&B, Swing, Shuffle, Mambo and Jive. Fronted by the outstanding harmonicaplayer and singer Wouter Celis, the band started out in 1998 and soon built itself a reputation for their enthusiastic live performances. The band played big venues and festivals in and around Belgium, Germany and the Netherlands. In 2002 the Rhythm Bombs released their debut-CD “ONE GEAR UP”. Consisting mostly of own material, the CD received great reviews and earned the “Bombs” more fans. That same year the band headlined the first night of Belgiums biggest bluesfestival, the Belgium Rhythm 'n Blues Festival.

This Belgian bluesband knows how make a spicy mix of blues, boogie, swing, shuffle and mambo. The Rhythm Bombs started out in 1999 and quickly got themselves a reputation as one of the premier jump and swing bands in the Benelux. Fronted by the outstanding harmonica player and singer Wouter Celis, the band played big venues and festivals in and around Holland, Belgium and Germany. The Rhythm Bombs also had the pleasure to perform twice at the famous Belgium Rhythm & Blues Festival in Peer.

Both the studio album "One Gear Up" and the live cd "Better Be Ready" received great reviews from radio and the press in Belgium and abroad. In 2010 Wouter Celis, drummer Marc Gijbels and bassplayer Patrick Indestege went out on a search for a new band member and brought in guitar player Stanley Patti. The Rhythm Bombs will hit the road again to bring you some exciting blues, jump and swing that will go right to the spot, hit your mark and let you have a swell time. This band aims for nothing less than chicken-skin music!
