Slim Paul coud have been a basketball player. During his teenage years, the ball took over the guitar lessons his cousins gave him. But the rediscovery of the american guitar virtuoso, Jimi Hendrix, made him forget about the playgrounds, and threw him on a road he is still walking along twenty years later. He dedicated himself to the guitar, discovered the Blues and began to write in english, with the musical and political afro-american culture as a background.

He finally settled in Toulouse in 2001, and found Le Me´lange, his first musical matrix, before to fully focus on the Blues, five years later. With the creation of Scarecrow, he begun an adventure that drove him from the biggest stages of 15 different countries around the world to the recording of two albums and numerous EP’s of the Blues Hip-Hop band during the last decade. Meanwhile, he recorded the five tracks composing « Weep n moan session 1 » in 2013. Two years later, « Slim Paul’s Weep n Moan » is a move towards a conceptual record with seven very personal Folk and Blues tracks, recorded with percussionist Turtle Tom.

At the end of 2016, he leaves to New-York, alone, to loose himself and go back to the actual roots of his music and writings. Right after his return from North-America, he records « No Yet Man », his first « Blues only » EP, that ends the foundation of his upcoming first album.
