Four boys, united by a passion for music, find themselves one day in a rehearsal room, and start to improvise classics of the Blues, thus entering the magical world of 12 bars. It was February 2012 and, inspired by the greats of the past, they began to propose passages by Stevie Ray Vaughan, Muddy Waters, Robert Jhonson, Eric Clapton, ZzTop .... After only 3 months they realize the first concerts and consequently the name is also chosen : "The BluesDocter" (the boys will explain later that this derives from the distortion of the name of a famous Amsterdam coffeshop: The BushDocter). After a dozen concerts in the clubs of Bergamo and Milan, a fifth element joins the Band: Paolo alle Tastiere and harmonica. All this enriches their sound, opens up huge spaces in which to indulge their creativity. This is how the first pieces of their own creation begin to arrive.
Meanwhile, the five: Emanuele (Voce), Andrea (guitar), Riki (Basso), Paolo (keyboard & harmonica) and Andrea (Drums), continue to perform concerts and in 2013 bring their music on important stages such as the Amigdala Theater and of the Sbirrando Beer fest. In autumn 2013 they have the possibility to record a piece in the studios of the Sae in Milan. The band decided to record a song called "Sarah's Gone".
In the summer 2014 they have the honor of treading the stage of the Blues River festival of Trezzo sull'Adda (MI), each year full of great Italian and International names. In March 2015 they released their first album "Fiumana", seven tracks of pure energy blues, available both in CD and on digital platforms such as Spotify, youtube and soundcloud. Their Blues has the aggressiveness of Rock, the energy of Funky and the rhythm of the Country, involving old and new generations. The Bluesdocters offer, at their concerts, a show that, keeping the old traditions of music born along the banks of the Mississippi, will not be able to make you stand still.
