Michael has been writing, producing, and touring for over 30 years. His early influences, Johnny Winter and Jimmy Page, became the foundation for his long-term metal and blues interests. Michael is a founding member of the classical metal group “Black Knight” that went on achieve International aclaim and success. Michael has been the lead guitarist and writer in many other bands including Chrissy Steele and more recently with Vancouver’s New Country band Whiskey Jane. His recent “WILD WILD WESTT” recording project, featuring Nashville's great vocalist, "Brenda Burch", went on to chart many top 10 singles internationally including a #1 in UK and Europe. Michael notes …“The newest project … The Swagger Kings reflects my love of 1950’s based American Retro Blues, Jump, Rockabilly, Honky Tonk, and classic Rock & Roll. It was a special time in music history, and we just want to capture some of the sounds and atmosphere of that era … and have a lot of fun doing it.”
