Mr. Sipp the 2014 International Blues Challenge Winner has garnered many awards over his short blues career including the 2014 Gibson Best Guitarist, 2015 JMA Blues Artist of the Year, 2015 JMA Entertainer of the Year. He is teaching the world about the Mississippi River Blues which is the Mr. Sipp blues. He is Knocking a Hole In It literally all over the world. Returning from a great European tour that started in Amsterdam and ended in Belgium with 5 nights of sold out blues. Sipp being an endorser of Epiphone guitars also lead an hour long guitar workshop in Macau, China. Mr. Sipp is working on his 3rd blues album which also be bar none in the blues.

Castro Coleman, a.k.a. Mr. Sipp “Mississippi Blues Child” was born August 25, 1976 to Johnell and the late Vera Coleman in the small town of McComb, MS. With gospel as his foundation, Sipp started playing guitar at the tender age of six with his musically inclined family. He has played on over 50 national gospel recordings and this year he took him the title of International Blues Challenge Winner, just a mere 14 months after taking up the blues. The IBC is held annually in Memphis and hosts over 230 bands competing for this honor.

Coleman has traveled the globe playing his unique style of guitar and works as a songwriter, composer, producer, vocalist and performing artist. Most importantly, he is a God fearing, hard working family man with four daughters. Recently, Castro was casted in the upcoming James Brown movie, “Get on Up” that will be released August 1. It has been said that Mr. Sipp will be the next “King of the Blues”.

2014 has been a big year thus far for Coleman. In addition to his IBC 2014 win, Castro also won the Gibson Best Guitar Award this year, as well as landed an endorsement from Ephiphone. Additionally, he received the National Artist of the Year nomination by the Jackson Music Awards and was the first recipient of the Bobby Rush Award bestowed by the Jus Blues Music Awards.

Castro Coleman a-k-a Mr. Sipp "The Mississippi Blues Child". Born August 25, 1976 to Johnelle and the late Vera Coleman in the small town of McComb, MS. He began playing the guitar at the tender age of 6. Due to hard work and perseverance, Mr. Sipp has become an awesome vocalist, songwriter, musician, composer, producer and entertainer.Above all of that, Mr. Sipp is a God fearing family man. Castro has over 125 credits and has played on over 50 national recordings with several Grammy nominated projects. He has traveled to Russia, Germany and other countries spreading his gift of music.

Mr. Sipp is the 2014 International Blues Challenge Winner by way of The Vicksburg Blues Society. 2014 Gibson Best Guitarist Award Winner, 2014 Jus' Blues Bobby Rush Entertainers Award Recipient. Mr. Sipp was also cast in the recently released James Brown movie, "Get on Up". Mr. Sipp's favorite quote, "I'm living to love the life that I live, Music!!!!"

Castro Coleman a-k-a Mr. Sipp "The Mississippi Blues Child!" Born August 25, 1976 to Johnell and the late Vera Coleman in a small town called McComb, MS. Mr. Sipp started playing the guitar when he was 6 years old with the guitar being taller than he was. As a child all odds were against him being that he was so small. Although he was small in size, his drive and dreams were bigger than life. Because of his dedication and hard work, Mr. Sipp has become an awesome songwriter, musician, composer, producer, vocalist and performing artist. Most importantly, Mr. Sipp is a God fearing hard working family man. Mr. Sipp declares that music is his passion!!! He has traveled the US as well as several countries with his unique style of playing the guitar. Mr. Sipp has also played on over 50 national gospel recordings.
At the age of 36, his wish is to keep giving people hope and enjoyment through his music. He is now traveling through the states with his family band, "Ken Folk". Mr. Sipp is also a 2013 IBC finalist and he is the 2014 winner of the International Blues Challenge in Memphis.
