"A real entertainer, a provider of a refreshing blast of new Blues"
Blues Matters Magazine

A genuine one man band playing drums, guitar, harmonica and singing live and simultaneously. A unique act that delivers off beat blues and raucous rock and roll.

Andy honed his craft playing in pubs and clubs from the age of 12. Inspired by blues greats such as Muddy waters, John Lee Hooker and R.L. Burnside, Andy developed his own one man band sound. He became a professional, working blues musician gigging at venues including the popular Jazz Café, and the 100 Club in London. Andy has played at theatres and festivals up and down the country such as the Great British Rock and Blues Festival in Skegness and the Brighton Fringe Festival. He has been interviewed on a number of radio stations including London’s Resonance 104.4 FM and has been featured in ‘Blues in Britain’ and ‘Blues Matters’ Magazines.

"Andy Twyman is a one man 100% genuine blues boogie machine...like John Lee Hooker on acid with a touch of the clash thrown in"
Blog of the Blues.
