Whether she is crooning a soulful, bluesy ballad or wailing out a frantic rock 'n' roller, she embodies that sound that rock 'n' roll was founded on. Though petite, she owns the stage with a commanding presence and a sexy sass. If you have not had the chance to witness it, you will soon. Little Rachel is out to make a big impression!
It is evident that this is what she was made to do, and she is quickly earning a new fan base that crosses over from not only 1950's music fans, but fans of blues and soul as well. Since the release of "'Cause I Feel Good", her first album, critics have been raving. Little Rachel has been featured in numerous publications worldwide including "Blue Suede News" (U.S.), "Blues News" (Finland), "Blues & Rhythm"(U.K.), "UK Rock!" (U.K.), "Big Beat" (Finland), "Jumpin' From 6 to 6" (France), "RUTA 66" (Spain), and "American Music Magazine" (Sweden).
This second CD, recorded in Barcelona with Spanish jump blues aces The Lazy Jumpers is a power-packed and soulful collection of 14 songs: 8 originals penned by Little Rachel, 2 by the amazing Swedish song-writer - her Tail labelmate - Eva Eastwood, and 4 more by Mario Cobo guitarist for the Lazy Jumpers, no covers, no fillers only killers! She is backed by Lazy Jumpers' Mario on guitar, Ivan on upright bass and Blas on percussion plus guests David Giorcelli on piano and Dani Perez on Saxophones.
If you like Etta James, Wynona Carr, Little Richard, Little Willie John, Big Mama Thornton, Ruth Brown, Lavern Baker, Johnny "Guitar" Watson, Roy Brown, Wynonie Harris, Ann Cole... this is your CD!

One of the best blues band of 2005 doesn’t come from Chicago or Los Angeles, but from Spain. Not only the Lazy Jumpers are amazing and skilled musicians but they are equally good as songwriters. Supported by a tight rhythm section, Mario Cobo on guitar and the deep growling voice and wild harmonica of Blas Picon take us to a journey through American blues. Straight ahead blues, Bo Diddley beat tune, piano led boogie woogie, Chicago blues, swingin’ instrumental and of course West Coast blues you’ll find all that. But this is just the mould on which the Lazy Jumpers have built their songs with their own sound. The tunes never sound like museum pieces, their references (Joe Turner, Little Walter, T-Bone Walker…) may be in the 40’s and the 50’s, they never are a burden and the band always sounds fresh.

The Lazy Jumpers - 2 albums: Somebody Tell That Woman / Comin' On Like Gangbusters
Ain't nothing lazy about this rockin' jump blues band from Barcelona (Spain) born in 2002. Highly influenced by afroamerican music of the 40's and 50's (T-Bone Walker, Sonny Boy Williamson, Little Walter & Tiny Bradshaw among others) they write and play their own material as they have already shown in clubs and big festivals all around Europe making themselves a name and good reputation in the Blues and Rhythm Blues scene.
The first release from 2003; Somebody Tell That Woman (El Toro Records) got great reviews being acclaimed by the specialized magazines around as the best new group. They play a fine mixture of West Coast to Chicago to Rock 'n' Roll leaded by Blas Picón on Little Walter style chromatic harmonica and deep voice at Big Joe Turner's style.
