The Bros. Landreth are a Canadian roots rock quintet whose sound combines harmony-rich Americana, bluesy R&B, U.S singer/songwriter traditions, and the folk heritage of the northern prairies. Dave and Joey Landreth grew up in a musical household. Their father Wally is a renowned Winnipeg musician and songwriter, and a go-to for backing touring musicians on tour including Amos Garrett. As babies, their mother would bring them in a bassinet to their father's bar gigs.

Their parents' record collection -- which included plenty of Bonnie Raitt, Little Feat, Ry Cooder, Lyle Lovett and John Hiatt -- provided inspiration to the brothers in their teens. Deciding early on to be in their own band, they worked separately, backing other musicians until they were in their twenties before realizing their goal. The Bros. Landreth also includes drummer Ryan Voth and guitarist Ariel Posen. All four sing. ~Thom Jurek
