Although recorded in Germany this is an international band playing their own brand of Rockabilly! Featuring Oliver Rheene from Germany - vocal and rhythm guitar, guitarrist Shawn D’Orphe from Canada (The Studebakers), Ray Black (The Hidden Charms) on upright bass, plus Raw Byrd (Limanja) on drums!

The idea of contemporary songs being covered in a rockabilly style isn’t new, but The Wolverhinos give it a unique twist by claiming to play the original versions. Instead of merely changing the instrumentation and the rhythm of a song, The Wolverhinos reinvent it down to the writing, while still maintaining it's artistic core. So when it kicks off, you know the song, but often you just can’t put the finger on it. You can hum along, you even remember the lyrics, but it stays in the back of your brain, driving you mad, until you recognize the chorus. Aaaaaah, right. That’s what we call the Wolverhino effect. But even if you don’t care about the pseudo-scientific approach of The Wolverhinos, and even if you don’t get the joke, the band still kicks ass with their unique blend of Rockabilly, R’n’ B and Country.
