More than thirty years ago, they met for the first time. Two Hamburg guitarists appeared as guests at a session in a blues bar in Bremen, where they met a Dutch singer who was looking for new contacts in Germany. Nobody could foresee at the time that this event would bring famous bands like "Backstreet Blues Band" and "JJ & The Shuffle Kings", who rocked the stages at home and abroad for many years.
Thirty years, countless gigs and many CDs later, musicians from the original bands have reunited to bring their own style of music to life with all their experience. Off the beaten blues tracks, VAN DYCK INC. Stylish and of course a mix of shuffle, swing, second line rhythms and ballads, for which the word "Americana" was invented.
Live is the six musicians of VAN DYCK INC. to note the close connection to their music and the blind understanding among each other. Own compositions and arrangements of her favorite songs, such as Van Morrison, Ry Cooder, John Hiatt or Little Feat, are competently presented with a sound rarely heard from German bands. The music of VAN DYCK INC. handmade - they do not need technical tricks and effects to get the audience involved.
