Emilee South is a folk-blues songwriter. Emilee South traverses the globe with her guitar.

In pursuit of an endless summer, she draws influence from her 3 homes – Melbourne, St. Tropez (France), and Honolulu (Hawaii).

Playing solo since 2011 – all over Melbourne, in Paris, and St. Tropez – 2013 saw her explode on Honolulu’s underground music scene, making her debut at venues such as Hard Rock Café Waikiki and Downbeat Diner, and supporting local and touring artists of all genres.

With bright and powerful vocals and strong guitar picking, she relays whiskey-infused stories of tropical paradise, young love and small-town guilt, with blues-driven rhythms inspired by the chime of the village church bells.

Emilee’s debut EP, ‘Aloha, Au Revoir’ was recorded at The Aviary Recording Studio in Melbourne, engineered by Fraser Montgomery, and features a collection of extraordinary musicians.

This year will see Emilee touring ‘Aloha, Au Revoir’, interstate and internationally, and expanding her ever-growing reputation on the local scene.
