Dockery Dawgs is a blues band based in the Trondheim area. Dockery Dawgs was started in 1999 as an acoustic duo. They released two CDs and there were toured countries and beaches until 2006. After a break, they returned in 2010. Now like a more electrified blues band.
In 2012 came "SHAKE WHAT YOU GOT", the band's third CD and their first band. Here was the heavy, scratchy electric blues inspired by: R.L. Burnside, Junior Kimbrough, Hound Dog Taylor, Bukka White and Howling Wolf. The title of the album was a tribute to T-Model Ford, who used that expression every time a lady crossed the dance floor and attracted his attention when playing at the Notodden Blues Festival.
