An undisputed master of the harmonica and a key figure in Canadian blues, Guy Bélanger is celebrating 50 years in music with Postcards from London, his tenth studio album, recorded at the legendary Abbey Road Studios in London. Postcards from London offers a rich, evocative musical journey where blues, folk, and modern sounds intertwine with finesse and emotion.
Produced by Guy Bélanger and Rob MacDonald, and mixed by the renowned Larry O’Malley and Glenn Scott (Eric Bibb, Mary J. Blige, James Blunt), the album features inspired collaborations with Eric Longsworth (cello), Mélissa Lavergne (percussion), Tommy Gauthier (violin), Mark LeClerc (saxophone), Rob Lutes (vocals), and Yves Frulla (Celine Dion) on piano. Postcards from London evokes both the roots of blues and film music, all with a distinctly British touch.
Personnel: Guy Bélanger (vocals, harmonica); Rob MacDonald (guitar; Alec McElcheran (bass); Dan Legault (drums).
