An outstanding guitarist, especially with the resophonic variety and applying the ‘slide’ style, he has an innate ability to make the audience vibrate in his shows and never go unnoticed. Chino fuses blues and swing with such disparate styles as gipsy, jazz, tango, bolero, flamenco and South American folklore, and has performed in European and American venues and festivals with great success.

Tota (Flavio Rigatozzo), harmonica player and blues singer, was born on February 8th 1974 in Buenos Aires, Argentina. He discovered the blues after his teens and embraced it as a way of life. Since 1995 he has led TotaBlues, a band that recreates the traditional blues of the 50s, 60s and 70s, recalling works by authors and performers such as Muddy Waters, B.B. King, Willie Dixon, Little Walter, Louis Jordan and others. In addition, TotaBlues has its own compositions in Spanish, without neglecting the style and sound of those years.

It has no more technique than about 6 microphones, a Yamaha analog console and a Zoom H4 handheld recorder. We simulate a 2-track take by panning a stereo signal from the console. There are 9 songs by our references + a small cover art, which we upload to a Drive for download."

CaburoBlus is made up of Caburo on vocals, Willy Echarte on guitar and arrangements, Pachi Castaño on bass and Pupe Barberis on drums, as the hard core, but this Friday's album and presentation will feature their "deluxe" line-up that also includes the talented singers Vir Oliva and Pau Soka, as well as Lucas Russo on keyboards. “We are going to be seven musicians on stage reviewing the themes of El Rosarino with the occasional new arrangement that emerges in rehearsals, and when they are played live they have another imprint. Especially blues, which is a style with a little more improvisation. It is difficult to represent the album as it is and that is not the idea”.

With an average of 10 years of experience, the band consolidates the project with a Blues record that shows the path taken by each member. Composed by Federico Verteramo on guitar and vocals, Christian Morana on bass and Germán Pedraza on drums. Musicians young but with wide experience in the Blues. With a powerful sound, mostly recorded live in Estudios del Parral, the album seeks to replicate the strength that the group shows in their shows. The production of the album was carried out by Julio Fabiani, guitarist and composer of the consolidated band Tamesis and producer in other important projects of Afro-American music. In addition, it counts on outstanding guests like Guido Venegoni (Thames); Florence Andrada, eminent Soul singer from Argentina; And the harmonica player Jorge Costales, among several others. The songs that make up the plaque are mostly cult, within the genre and the history of the Blues, rescued to reinterpret them from the perspective of a band that plays and lives in the XXI century, as well as versions of themes such as the classic Of The Rolling Stones "Honky Tonk Women" and a tribute to the great Ray Charles with the vocal interpretation of Florence Andrada in "(Night Time) is the right time".

Bluhauz is the self-titled debut album from Miami based guitarist Bluhauz. Bluhauz originally hails from Argentina and was the frontman for Stone Giant prior to launching a solo career. Over the past year, Bluhauz released multiple singles from the album and his debut was listed as one of Blues Rock Review’s most anticipated albums of 2021.

The album opens with the first single, “Purify My Soul,” which sets the tone for the album. Featuring a fuzzy guitar riff, “Purify My Soul” is a strong rocker to kick things off. Bluhauz goes reggae on the next track, “What’s Going On.” The latest single “Does It Matter?” follows and features a catchy chorus that will stick in the listener’s head complimented by Maryel Epps’ backing vocals.

Bluhauz shifts towards the blues on “Tell Me Baby” while “Keep On Rolling” is a pandemic inspired track about living in lockdown with an optimistic outlook to keep on rolling.

One of the album’s highlights is the anthem “Generation Calling” which features humming and a violin intro from Stefano Melillo. The song explodes in the chorus and should be a crowd favorite in the live setting. “Give It Back” was one of the other previously released singles and features Alexis Rodriguez laying down the groove and more of Bluhauz’s fiery guitar work. “Everyday,” also released as a single is a high energy, electric rocker that closes out the record.

Bluhauz delivers with his self-titled debut album. It’s one of the better rock releases in 2021. The album is filled with great hooks, excellent guitar, and well crafted songs. Jump on the train because Bluhauz is ready to purify your soul with fresh rock and roll. The Review: 9/10 ~Pete Francis

After two years of playing on the Buenos Aires blues circuit Nacho Ladisa Blues Club has managed to release their first album. It was recorded live at the Circo Beat studios with additional voices recorded in the Coleguim Musicum School of Blues studio by Daniel de Vita. The album has nine songs and an artistic search towards the most significant years of this genre, the 1950s and 1960s in Chicago. The band plays covers of songs by Muddy Waters, Jimmy Reed, Jimmy Rogers, Eddie Boyd and Robert Lookwood Jr. with original and their own arrangements. In addition to great classics of the genre, an own identity was sought since the three instrumental songs are of their own composition and stylistically consistent.

This group, formed in early 2010, consists of very active musicians on the blues circuit in Buenos Aires. Nacho Ladisa joined the traditional blues band "La Caterva" in 2000, and with that group he has played in places like Blues Special Club, Jazz & Blues, Honkers Club and has also participated in the Jazz & Blues cable program and on radio blues programs like that of Adrián Flores. With Brotzman and Torres Blues Band he participated two consecutive years of the Jazz festival in the Subte, and he also joined the Blues Special Band as an occasional guitarist and accompanied various harmonica players on the local scene. Throughout the years he has had the pleasure of playing with artists such as Slam Allen, guitarist with James Cotton, and has also been invited to participate in the show of one of his great references Lurrie Bell on his last visit to Argentina. (Translated from Spanish)

"Lost In Translation" is his fourth album, but the first one with original material. Even though this is not the most traditional Blues album he has done, you can tell Daniel is a Blues lover and an overall Roots and Americana Music fanatic. This record is a brave effort to put out what goes on inside Daniel's mind and heart, an open wound, a cry for empathy and a fresh take on universal themes such as love, heartbreak, mental illness and human bonding.

The music of Adrián Jiménez and Roberto Porzio is faithful to the roots of Afro-American music, with a unique flair that transports audiences to the very essence of blues. With a perfect ensemble of vocals, harmonica and guitar, the duet plays an extensive repertoire of varied styles faithful to the stylistic hallmarks typical of black music – sanguine, raw and full of energy. Both musicians play diatonic and chromatic harmonicas, as well as a wide variety of strings – guitars, slide, one string, cigar box - that create a perfect frame for their vocals.

With a career spanning more than 20 years in this unique endeavour, Jiménez and Porzio bring to life the most rustic and visceral music in the Afro-American tradition, adding a personal touch to it - a breath of fresh air that makes their shows a unique experience.
