It is my pleasure to present 10 original songs on “Blues River”, including 8 new original songs and 2 of our original songs from the past, revisited.
Thanks to my family and friends who gave me constant encouragement to put down an album showcasing a female contralto voice. It took many years of convincing but I am very happy with the results and I hope you enjoy this body of work as much as we did creating it.
My eternal gratitude goes out to Kurt Flavin for his luscious guitar licks and impeccable harmonies.
Kurt’s vocal duet on “Right Train” provides a silvery cool contrast to my husky sound.
It is quite rare for a singer/songwriter like myself to have the privilege of collaborating with an artist, musician and songwriter of Kurt’s caliber. Kurt graciously took time from his busy schedule to make this dream happen.
Kurt and I are currently working on a new album of original Blues/Rock duets we plan to unveil in 2019.
