The leader of the Gomel band Al Narrator Orchestra, the legend of Belarusian classical blues Alexander Tsyganok decided to scare his listeners by recording a record in which he combined his characteristic and fundamental music with electronic, pop-influenced pads and other corresponding effects. What he got was what he got – naked, pure chill-out, relaxation and meditation, a lazy midnight club trip in very dim lights and puffs of smoke. If you properly push this product to the people, I think it will find its consumer.
On the one hand, this is an absolutely commercial work (I don’t want to write that it was calculated, because Tsyganok never got hung up on such crap in his life, rather, it’s about an experiment-mockery-not an evil smile, like – here you go, I’ll play by your rules just fine), even though not many people in our area eat it up (in the West – it’s just right). On the other hand, no matter how you look at it, comrades, the main thing here is the blues, which is blues in Belarus too. “Too Many Ones”, “She Passes By”, “Looking Down the Line”. The best and the brightest.
