Back in the early 90's, a group of rock 'n' roll desperadoes found themselves jamming together at the 8121, a tiny club on the Sunset Strip. They had one thing in common - a dissatisfaction for the heavy rock template most bands on the strip were using at that time and a deep love for blues and the music of the 60's. Eventually this band became known as the Homewreckers. They quickly became the house band for many clubs in and around the Hollywood area.
Between 1990 and 1996 the band played hundreds of gigs, and at times featured Craig Ross (Lenny Kravitz Band), Marc Ford (The Black Crowes) and Eddie Munoz (Plimsouls). Their critically acclaimed debut CD "Out Of The Shadows", produced by Kim Simmonds of Savoy Brown, was released on the New York blues label Viceroy Records in 1993. By 1996 the band imploded and was no more.
Personnel: Steve Counsel (vocals, harmonica); Jack Rivera (guitar, backing vocals); Craig McCloskey (bass, backing vocals); Dallas Meseberg (drums, percussion); Keith Fisher (piano, Hammond B-3, Wurlitzer).
