Jimmy Rip has been called in many ways through his extraordinary musical life ... session guitarist, tour guide, songwriter, composer for television programs and movies, musical director, arranger, producer and soloist. Mick Jagger, Jerry Lee Lewis, Willie Nelson, Rod Stewart, Television, Hall and Oates, Deborah Harry, Jack Bruce and Mariah Carrey are just some of the legends with which Rip has shared his talent.
Jimmy spent years being a session guitarist in high demand in his hometown of New York. In 1997, and due to the good reviews received, he released his first solo album "Way Past Blue". After this, he returned to help some of his most famous friends so they can realize their musical dreams. The album "Wandering Spirit" by Mick Jagger, of which Jimmy was musical director, guitarist and co-author, was Mick's best-selling record in his solo career. He also produced "Last Man Standing" by one of Rock 'n' Roll's parents, Jerry Lee Lewis. This album reached the highest position in the charts of the entire career of Lewi's!
