Campfire Soul is a Blues/Rock/Soul band that is turning the music world upside down. Bursting onto the Houston Music scene in 2013 this young band has been turning heads everywhere they perform. Campfire Soul consists of Sarah-Grace, Reagan, and Daniel. Out front, Sarah-Grace brings soulful vocals that defy her age and has drawn comparisons to some of the grand ladies of blues and soul. She draws all while being inspired by contemporary vocalists such as Ruthie Foster, Sara Bareilles, and Susan Tedeschi. Although Sarah-Grace’s vocals will bring you into the show, it is her musicianship that will keep you there. Sarah-Grace brings a blistering trumpet to the party and some fine throwback B3 organ pounding, as well. Keeping it in the family is Sarah-Grace’s sister, Reagan, behind the kit. At barely 12, Reagan is already one of the funkiest drummers in Houston and has held the groove behind some of Houston’s finest musicians. Reagan’s rhythm mate is the one and only, Daniel Holder. Daniel is a native of Germany and recently attended the prestigious Victor Wooten Bass Camp. Daniel and Reagan have formed a close bond that all the great rhythm sections enjoy. Campfire Soul has already been blessed to receive many accolades including being chosen to represent Houston twice in Memphis as their youth showcase band for the International Blues Challenge as well as receiving “Best New Band’ and “Best Blues Band” nominations from the Houston Press. Campfire Soul is a regular in the Houston live music scene and can be seen at multiple music venues highlighted by their monthly show at the House of Blues. They have also enjoyed performing to large crowds at multiple festivals in and around Houston. Campfire Soul is a band not to be missed in 2017 and they look forward to continuing to entertain at a level far beyond their years.
