Rodrigo Nézio & Duocondé Blues is a blues trio from Minas Gerais, Brazil. Together since 2004, they have two recorded CDs and two singles. The first CD was released in 2008 and bears the name of the trio. In the same year, Rodrigo Nézio & Duocondé Blues made several presentations promoting their CD which lead to that the trio earned the prize for Best Blues Album of 2008, the 1st Blues Banking Award.

The second CD, "Hello Pretty Baby", released in 2011, was done in partnership with the harp player Jefferson Gonçalves and contains songs from renowned authors like Willie Dixon, Charlie Musselwhite, Norton Buffalo and others. The quartet tries to show a side of blues that many people don't know about - the happy side of the blues.

Rodrigo Nézio if challenges in sharing his talent as a guitarist to a new experience: being a singer-songwriter of her own songs. Invites so André, Towers drummer partner in other projects, and Rodrigo Schaffer, bassist with whom Nézio had previously worked. The goal of the new job was a Blues Power Trio format. The tests began, the relationship between the musicians was very good and soon, the songs still raw, earned arrangements and solos that animated the trio. Already in the first month, they decided to record a demo CD with the songs that have been tested and do a gig of release.

"Will it appear someone? I wonder if people will like? " Appropriate questions in a new project, but were answered quickly with crowded House and sold out. The simple demo CD was very well accepted, the new songs well received and willingness to continue and want more grew in musicians.

Several shows scheduled and among them a very special was proposed the trio: make a show along with the renowned carioca Jefferson Goncalves harmonica player, in Barbacena. The idea came from a friend and guitarist, Ted Mc Kneely, organiser of Blues festivals in Tiradentes-MG. The trio accepted with excitement. The show was a success and it came an invitation from Big Joe Manfra, owner of Blues Time Records, for which the trio was part of the cast from his label. So went the first CD of the band.

On the CD release show, in 2007, Jefferson and Manfra were invited to a participation playing a few songs with the band. The partnership was further and, in 2011, they released the CD Rodrigo & Duocondé Nézio, Jefferson Gonçalves Blues "Hello Pretty Baby", also by Blues Time Records who brought the virtuosity of Jefferson on harmonica by the heavy footprint of Rodrigo & Nézio Duocondé Blues. In the Repertoire, classics of Blues won new clothes.

The audience approved and concerts in important festivals took place, among them the Festival of Jazz Blues & in Rio das Ostras-RJ, Ibitipoca Blues in Mines, where had the honor of playing with the guitar Wizard, Celso Blues Boy, the Island Blues in Ilha Comprida-SP, Brazil Blues in the CCBB-RJ and the Vi Jazz in Viçosa-MG. Even in 2011 RNDB, made a new experience putting on repertoire songs in Portuguese, they recorded a demo CD with good acceptance of the public taking a step for an upcoming album.

In the year 2012, the trio was invited to participate in the project Baker Blues, where recorded a version of "wild at heart", track included on the CD. In 2014, the trio completes 10 years of work.
