After a first scorch and rural album, deltaR leaves the porch to broaden its horizon with this new album where guitars have a preeminent place.

We are still speaking of delta blues, but the trio isn't stuck at the crossroad sung by late Robert Johnson. The album starts, in the veins of the Screaming Blues Messiah, with the foot on the floor with "Get a Life". Follows a psychedelic cover of Willie Dixon's "Pretty thing", luminous like the sun rising over CCR's swamp. Some more nervous songs can be found later, with the electrifying "Jumper on the LIne", "Small Man" or "Can't do it without my Baby".

More laid back are "Sex, Booze and Dirty Blues" and "Mystery Train" that only shares it's name with Elvis'. Some drone songs are also present with an apocalyptic cover of Dixon's "Wang Dang Doodle" and a haunting cover of Robert Johnson's "Come in my Kitchen". The album ends, like a jack in the box, with with the explosive "Mailman Boogie".
