Jai Malano, former singer from Royal Rhythmaires, has teamed up with Nico Duportal and his band The Rhythm Dudes to record her fantastic album Rocket Girl, her first solo release.

Similar to the sounds of Etta James, Little Richard, Lavern Baker, and many more of the originators of Rhythm & Blues and Rock & Roll; this sound is authentic and historically relevant to the culture of American music. The writing style is mostly a blend of storytelling backed by rhythm, brass, and guitar. It's purpose is to incite movement and imagery as the lyrics dance around the beat. This music is raw, as each song tells a story unlike the one before. It's guaranteed to get your attention and keep it, from start to finish. Taking not only the artist back to the drawing board of creating art, but also the listener back to the days of enjoying oral literature.
