The singer, presenter and entertainer was the first singer of the band Culture Beat in the 90s (later known for the mega hit Mr.Vain) and reached a No. 2 position in the US Billboard charts with the single I Like You.
Under the stage name Floy, she also had further chart success as a solo artist with the song Soulful Man (title song for the cinema comedy Women are Wonderful with Barbara Auer, Kai Wiesinger, Tomas Heinze). The entire album Shamelessly was tailor-made for Floy in London by the production team Leeson&Vale (Would I Lie To You, Charles&Eddie) and is the soundtrack for the TV movie Christmas with Obstacles.
As a composer, Floy is under contract with EMI Publishing and works in the USA and England with many well-known producers and authors such as the Grammy award winner Val Garay (Bette Davies Eyes, Kim Carnes), Charly Midnight (Unchain My Heart, Jo Cocker) and Ellen Shipley (I Come Undone, Jennifer Rush).
From Germany, she and her company Floyland produce and compose music and ID songs for large companies such as Mercedes, Siemens and Telekom as part of PR campaigns.
Heike Vieweg has worked for the Schmidts Tivoli Theater Hamburg for many years as musical director, singer and presenter.
As early as the mid-1990s, Floy also entered the field of acting and played the female lead in the TV movie Christmas with Obstacles alongside Liselotte Pulver and Michael Roll. In 2000, she celebrated her premiere with the one-woman play Me, Myself And Janis Joplin at the English Theater HH, followed by the musical play Mächtig Hitverdächtig at the Hamburger Sprechwerk in 2022.
With her album Today I Rise, she accompanied Eric Clapton on tour in 2018 as a support act.
