After all of these years, after 5 studio albums and hundreds of requests from fans and supporters around the world, Jake has finally made that official *LIVE* album featuring the seven piece Big Rude Jake band and special guests. Live & Out Loud was recorded live off the floor in front of an enthusiastic audience at Toronto’s world famous Drake Hotel.

The new recording features an excellent collection of new material, fun cover songs and 'Jake' classics, each given that cheeky ‘Jake’ treatment. It may well be the one official CD that truly captures the inimitable experience of a live Big Rude Jake show. It’s loud, brassy, bluesy and upbeat as one would expect from Canada’s notorious ‘Swing Punk’, jumping on a sophisticated foundation of gifted songwriting, stellar musicianship and top quality production.

The band sounds red hot!!! They are: Kevin Barrett (guitar), Glenn Anderson (drums), Wes Neal (bass), Alison Young (sax), James Stager (trombone), and Howard Moore (trumpet). They're joined by special guests Maple Blues award winning Pat Carey (sax) and the incomparable BRJ Gentleman Player alumnus Michael Louis Johnson (trumpet) as well as the sweet sounds of backup singers Gillian Margot, Julie Michels, Sophia Perlman and Terra Hazelton. Sonya Cote charms in her role as Mistress of Ceremonies.
