John James is one of England's finest finger-style guitarists. He started playing guitar in the mid 1960's and ended up with over 15 albums. He guested on Shows on BBC TV and Radio, wrote guitar books on Ry Cooder and Rory Gallagher, made teaching cassettes and videos. Eddie Walker is an international troubadour, playing all over the world his swinging singing style, from ballads to blues, from calypso to country.
Together John James and Eddie Walker toured the UK and Europe, presenting musical entertainment with a good-time feel. Side-Steppin' is an album of guitar pickin and singing, firmly rooted in the country swing idiom.
