This is real music, soaked in sweat and polished with mud. No tricks, no gimmicks, just raw Rock n’ Roll. The Dirty Things came to life in 2013 as frontman/bassist Jim Wes, guitarist Jeremy Bryant, and drummer Dane Wes. Jim has many accolades as a writer and producer including being certified Gold for his work with Disney on "Watch Me" - Bella Thorne and Zendaya, and producing and cowriting the Comcast Sportsnet's NFL fight song "Get Ya Game On" with country star Maggie Rose. Jeremy Bryant is the son of Jeff Bryant former drummer of hit country act Ricochet. He has been on many studio albums as a session player as well as national tours with other major rock acts. Dane is Jim's younger brother, and he got his first break playing for a Nashville rapper. Together they played huge shows like Bonnaroo, Lollapalooza, Austin City Limits, and The Sundance Film Festival.
There was a hole inside all of them not getting to be part of music that they were whole-heartedly connected with. Together they tapped into the source of their desire to play music in the first place. They were able to channel ZZ Top, Led Zeppelin, The Rolling Stones, Muddy Waters, Robert Johnson, Jimi Hendrix, Simon and Garfunkel, James Taylor, Van Morrison, Graham Central Station, Eagles, Cream, Black Sabbath, AC/DC, Aerosmith, and many many more to discover what they feel is the very reason they began playing music. With that knowledge and influence, The Dirty Things have created a sound that is empowering, refreshing and provocative. The music contains the familiar truth and honesty that links all the aforementioned bands together, yet it is fueled by youth and arrogance that has disappeared from today’s music.
Rock n’ Roll is dead...buried in a graveyard dug by Nickelback; however, rock n’ roll is a zombie and when it busts out of the ground you will have to either run for cover or join.
