Los Deltonos is composed by Hendrik Roever (Guitar and voice), Javi Arias (Drums), Pablo Zeta (Bass) and Fernando Macaya (Guitar and Chorus).
It is in 1986 that this group of Cantabrian musicians, then composed of Juanjo Velasco (drums), Chewis Herrero (bass) and Hendrik Roever (guitar and vocals), begins to use the name of Los Deltonos, but its beginnings go back to years ago with several musical projects and several changes of name of the formation as: Adrenaline Blues Band, Los Sextones, Los Impostores. Their competition in several festivals and some very high quality live shows gave them a fame within the national musical circuit that would allow them to record their first album that would be called "Tres hombres enfermos" (1990). Their unmistakable rhythm & blues style, coupled with their great lyrics, made them sell a remarkable number of copies despite having little promotion on the part of their label. With their second album the group would continue to grow in sales and in terms of number of hirings to perform live (performing the great tour "Best R & B tour 93"), as well as in number of fans, but a bad one due to some legal problems with his first record, forces them to make a temporary paron in his musical activity. This is no big problem for the group led by Hendrik Roever who come back renewed after this paron, with his "Deltonos sound", a mixture of funk, metal, pop, soul ... that catapults them again to stardom.
At present and after some changes of record and in its formation, the Deltonos are a solid pillar of the national rock that maintains its rhythmic pulse and also they are now declining part of its sound towards the American rock in the line of artists like the first Jayhawks or the first Wilco, Steve Earle .... obtaining a surprising sound by its personality within the rock with classic character, supported in some conscious texts in Castilian.
