Zocko learned how to rock playing at Detroit landmarks like The Grande Ballroom, East Town Theatre, Cobo Hall, and the legendary Rock 'n' Roll Revival. From there he backed up rock pioneers Chuck Berry, Bo Diddley, Del Shannon, The Drifters, Gary "US" Bonds and others at venues such as Chicago's McCormick Auditorium & Auditorium Theatre, Cincinnati's Riverfront Stadium, and universities in the Mid-West and Canada. Zocko appears on Chuck Berry's San Francisco Dues LP and The Chuck Berry Box Set on Chess Records.
Zocko plays guitar, bass, drums and piano, and studied classical piano with Detroit jazz master the late Matt Michaels. He writes and plays all tracks on his recordings.
